Lead with kindness. Respect different training choices, living situations and levels of dog experience. Disagreement is fine; humiliation, threats and pile-ons are not.

Ask before approaching, sharing treats or arranging play. Be honest about reactivity and support needs. Follow leash rules and the directions of park, venue and event staff.

Share suburb-level locations, never another person’s home address, live location, private messages or identifying details without permission. Do not post children without consent from their guardian.

Post your own dogs and moments, credit work you have permission to share, and avoid misleading health, breeding or behavioural claims. Commercial promotion requires prior approval.

Use reporting tools for unsafe, abusive or deceptive content. Immediate danger should be handled through the appropriate local emergency or animal-welfare service rather than community comments.

Moderation considers context, severity and patterns. Minor mistakes may receive guidance; dangerous behaviour, hate, harassment, exploitation or repeated violations may lead to removal.
